About This Project

With a vision to consolidate services and, in an opportunity to reduce fragmentation through staff consolidation DJR moved to a central CBD, 11,500 square metre building comprised over 19 levels.

 

To achieve this, extensive demolishment works of the former Qantas headquarters were undertaken. New internal stairs were cut in to join floors and measure were undertaken raise the green star rating the building.

 

The new offices provide for both formal and informal meeting spaces and break areas.

 

Other feature integrated into the building are,

  • Fully functioning Justice Service Centre on the Ground Floor
  • Office accommodation from level G – 16
  • A public hearing room, interview rooms, programs rooms
  • Holding cell
  • Recreational and break out spaces
  • Outdoor common areas
