Qingdao has been selected as the city to host the Beijing Olympics Water Sports and is ideally located on the south coast of China. We have been commissioned to master plan a 1.8sq kilometre coastal site four kilometres outside of Qingdao city.
Resort Housing some 3,500 apartments in the form of towers and medium density housing clusters, combined with private houses, along a ‘beach waterfront’ will be set amongst tree lined avenues and green parkland.
Inclusions
Facilities include:
- a 10,000 seat football stadium;
- associated football pitches;
- sports facilities,
- commercial district; and
- resort housing.
