This basketball stadium of six practice and two show courts is dynamic and uniquely tuned to its site, taking full advantage of its significant, location and environs. The form of the building responds to its sports function in an athletic and dynamic manner that can be easily expanded. From the flora and fauna strip to the south, the building rises to the street, with a series of masts and cables that aid support and herald its presence to the street.

The metal clad fuselage like form is raised above the ground with a lower band of glass providing a sensitive connection with the landscape. At the entrance, a slice is literally taken through the form and glazed, offering a clear sense of entry and transparency. It is here that from the street one can view through the building to the flora and fauna strip beyond.
