The Forum Theatre redesigned to the Melbourne Forum and provided a comprehensive upgrade to the facilities of the iconic performance and function centre. This brief asked for a space to accommodate 250-550 for dinner, 400-1,500 for cocktail events, and up to 800 for presentations. Standing room in the main auditorium has been widened, increasing its capacity from 1,500 to 2,000.
The old heritage envelope gave Jackson Architecture the creative opportunity to introduce a new contemporary vibe to the theatre, acting as a new multipurpose event space.
