This extremely successful project created an open learning centre with links to the adjacent Joondalup Campus of the Westcoast College of TAFE, and the Edith Cowan University.
The Academy provides high-level training facilities for 190 recruits and 80 - 90 in-service personnel including tactical, driver, and physical training. Residential accommodation and a chapel are key features of the facility. The memorial area and parade ground are designed to reinforce the ceremonial and cultural importance of this facility.
